What the trip will look like

Day 1 – Arrive in Bali!

Get ready for an epic 5-day, 4-night diving adventure in Bali! Day 1, will be pretty flexible! If you arrive in the afternoon we can settle in our accommodations, hit the beach, and grab dinner together!

Day 2 – Theory & confined water training

Theory Session: Kick-off with an engaging theory session, covering essentials such as equipment, the science of freediving, and safety procedures.

Breathing & Relaxation Techniques: Master the art of breath control and relaxation exercises to enhance comfort and oxygen conservation underwater.

Confined Water Session: Dive into a pool session to practice basic freediving skills such as finning, duck dives, equalization, safety measures, and static apnea.

Day 3 – Open water training

Open Water Session: On the second day, you’ll venture into open water. These sessions are designed to apply and enhance the skills learned in the confined water session.

Under the guidance of your instructor, you’ll start with relatively shallow dives, progressively increasing the depth as your comfort level increases. The objective is to comfortably free dive to depths of 10-20 meters, although the focus is on developing good technique and comfort in the ocean, not on achieving maximum depth.

Day 4 – Fun Dives or Spearfishing

Did you know that freediving is an ancient skill and many coastal indigenous cultures still freedive to hunt for food? Now that you’re armed with a free diving cert, you now have the option to take your skills out to sea and give a go at spearfishing! When the day ends, we will head to a local restaurant where the “catch of the day” will be cooked and served.

While some may be concerned about the ethics of spearfishing, the locals actually have a profound respect for their fish. You only catch what you will eat and there will be no waste.

If spearfishing is not your thing, you will spend the day enjoying some fun dives with your newfound freediving skills!

Day 5 – Farewell

And on our last day, we will check out of the hotel with our free dive certification and a lifetime of unforgettable memories!
