Krabi Rock Climbing: Explore Thailand’s Limestone Cliffs

Embark on a 6D5N adventure to experience the thrill of outdoor climbing. This southern Thai province is blessed with a stunning natural landscape, featuring towering limestone cliffs, hidden caves, and stunning sea views that attract climbers from around the world. You’ll be in good hands as seasoned climbing guides will be with you along the way.

What will the trip look like?

Day 1 – Arrive in Krabi

Get ready for an epic 5-day, 4-night climbing adventure in Krabi! Day 1, will be pretty flexible! If you arrive in the afternoon we can settle in, hit the beach, and grab dinner together.

Day 2 & 3 – The Climb Begins!

Day 2 & 3 are filled with non-stop action-packed climbs.

There will be two main climb groups:

1) Top ropers – Super beginner-friendly and perfect for those with little or no previous outdoor climbing experience. Our climb guides will set the route and belay you.

2) Lead climbers For those with an SNCS Level 2 Certification and a decent amount of outdoor climbing experience, this is the option for you. Our climb guides will show you the routes and watch over your safety but you are expected to know how to operate independently.

Day 4 – Free & Easy

Day 4 is a free and easy day! Take a break from the rocks and dive into the waters instead! There are so many fun things to do in Krabi like snorkelling, island-hopping, kayaking, rafting and trekking. Can’t get enough of climbing? There’s always a choice to take it to the next level with multi-pitch climbing or deep water solo.

Day 5 – Last Climb Day

Day 5 is all about pushing your boundaries. Get back on the rocks and put to use what you had learnt in the first two days and go further than before.

Day 6 (Last day) – Check out

On our last day, we will have a free and easy morning before checking out of the hotel with your newfound climbing skills and a lifetime of unforgettable memories!

Do I need any SNCS Certification?

Since the climbing guides will help belay on the climb days, you do not need SNCS Level 1. However, if you want to belay others or lead climb, you should have the SNCS Level 1 and 2 certifications respectively.

I am an indoor boulderer, is outdoor climbing very different?

The main difference is that “outdoor climbing is more fun and challenging”. Give it a go, no one we know has regretted trying outdoor climbing yet!
