What the trip will look like
Pre-trip – E-learning for Open water course
Before the trip, you are required to complete the e-learning lessons and PADI examination.
Day 1 – Arrive in Bali!

Get ready for an epic 5-day, 4-night diving adventure in Bali! Day 1, will be pretty flexible! If you arrive in the afternoon we can settle in, hit the beach, and grab dinner together!
Day 2

For open water divers, Day 2 is all about setting you up for success – we will start off with pool lessons taught by professional PADI instructors to get the hang of things.
For advanced and fun divers, you will be heading out to Tulamben for your dives. Tulamben is famous for the sunken USAT Liberty, a United States Army cargo ship that was torpedoed by Japanese submarine I-166 in January 1942. This dive site is amazing for both open and advanced water-certified divers.
Day 3

For open-water divers, day 3 is when the real fun begins, you will take your skills out to sea and experience what it's like to descend down to the sea bed for the very first time in your life.
For advanced and fun divers, you will be heading out to Nusa Penida for your dives. Nusa Penida is a beautiful and famous location in Bali. The coral reefs around Nusa Penida are amazing and they house some of the most unique sea creatures in the world. Some highlights would be coming face to face with Manta Rays and Mola Mola. On top of that, you will also get to experience a drift dive – think lazy river but underwater.
Day 4

For open-water divers, today is the day you will be completing your dive course! You will have one leisure dive at the end where you will get to explore the USAT shipwrecks at Tulamben!
For advanced and fun divers, today is a free and easy day. Some things our previous groups have done together are: Ubud waterfalls, Mt Batur, Wakeboarding, Surfing, Rafting
Or if you want to, you could arrange with the dive shop to go diving in Tulamben with the open water divers.
Day 5 – Farewell
And on our last day, we will check out of the hotel with our PADI certifications and a lifetime of unforgettable memories!

Motel Mexicola: Mexican restaurant that turns into a club at night. A great way to end the dive trip.
Why dive in Bali?
Bali is a fantastic location to do the PADI Open Water course for several reasons. Bali’s waters are known for their crystal-clear visibility, making it an ideal location for diving. The region is home to an array of diverse marine life, from colourful coral reefs to a wide variety of tropical fish species. Bali is also a pretty fun place in general with lots to do aside from diving!
What is PADI Open Water Certification for?
PADI Open Water is a scuba diving certification course offered by the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI), which is one of the world's largest and most respected diving organizations. The PADI Open Water course is designed to teach students the fundamentals of scuba diving and enable them to dive safely and confidently in open water environments.
Upon completion of the course, you will receive a certification that allows you to dive up to 18 meters with a buddy, anywhere in the world. The PADI Open Water certification is widely recognized and is a prerequisite for many advanced diving courses.
PADI Open Water Certification requirements
Participants will need to be able to tread water for 10 minutes and swim 200m.
